Custom Table Personalization Guide

Customization Guide

Nothing comes close to the look and feel of handmade objects. Every Marlot Baus table is made to order in our workshop in Sabadell, Barcelona. We do not hold stock, we do not produce seasonal collections, and no two tables are exactly alike.

How It Works

  1. Choose your model — select from oval, rectangular, or round shapes across 40+ models
  2. Specify dimensions — from 800mm diameter to 2600mm length, built to your space
  3. Select surface finish — microcement, wood, or stainless steel
  4. Pick leg style — 9 leg types in matching or contrasting finishes
  5. Choose edge profile — straight, rounded, inverted bevel, or inverted bullnose

Structure and Materials

Our tables are built with:

  • Core: Sustainable low-density MDF — stable, uniform, and resistant to humidity-related expansion
  • Legs: Solid spruce wood structural legs, with optional covering for rounded shapes
  • Surface: Nine-layer microcement system (primer, base, 3 fine-finish layers, 4 coats waterproof sealer with flexible mesh)

Edge Options

  • Straight: Flat edge, 10mm board thickness
  • Rounded: 15–25mm radius curve, 10mm board thickness
  • Inverted Bevel: Flat 15–35mm with angled cut, 5mm board thickness
  • Inverted Bullnose: Flat 15mm with 25mm radius curve, 5mm board thickness

Leg Styles

Nine leg types are available: Cylindrical, Oval, Conical, Oval 2, L-shape, V-shape, Rectangular, Half-moon, and Square. Legs can be finished in microcement, solid wood (oak, cherry, walnut, dark oak), or stainless steel (satin or mirror).
