Miami Art and Design Week
Following the success of Alcova Milano in April 2025, Marlot Baus crossed the Atlantic to present at Alcova Miami during Miami Art Week 2025. The presentation, In Her Studio, brought the brand's microcement craftsmanship to one of the most important art and design events in North America.
The Concept
In Her Studio presented Marlot Baus furniture in a setting that evoked the intimacy and creative energy of an artist's workspace. The installation reflected the brand's workshop philosophy in Sabadell, Barcelona — where every table is made by hand, one at a time.
Expanding to North America
Alcova Miami marked an important step in Marlot Baus' expansion to the North American market. The brand ships to the United States and has been featured in American design publications. Miami Art Week, held annually in December, is one of the most important art and design gatherings in the Western Hemisphere.
