The Six Microcement Colours
Every Marlot Baus table is available in six microcement colours. Each is hand-applied in three fine-finish layers over a base coat, meaning the colour has depth and subtle tonal variation — not the flat uniformity of paint or laminate.
Off-White
The most popular colour. Warm without being yellow, off-white brightens a room and pairs with virtually any interior style. It works particularly well in Scandinavian-inspired interiors and spaces with abundant natural light. Pairs beautifully with Natural Oak legs.
Ivory
Slightly warmer and richer than off-white. Ivory has a creamy quality that adds warmth to contemporary interiors. An excellent choice for dining rooms with warm lighting. Pairs with Walnut or Dark Oak legs for contrast.
Sand
A warm, earthy neutral. Sand sits between ivory and grey, bringing a natural warmth that complements wood furniture and natural textiles. Works in both modern and rustic interiors. Pairs with Cherry legs.
Grey
A cool, architectural tone. Grey microcement has the mineral quality of raw concrete but with a smoother, warmer finish. Ideal for industrial-inspired interiors and spaces with cool colour palettes. Pairs with Satin steel legs.
Black
Dramatic and sophisticated. Black microcement creates a powerful focal point in any room. The surface has a depth that paint cannot achieve — light interacts with the microcement layers to create subtle variations across the surface. Pairs with Walnut legs for warmth or Mirror steel for glamour.
Crystal Pink
A soft, warm blush tone. Crystal Pink is our most distinctive colour — subtle enough to work as a neutral, warm enough to add personality. It pairs particularly well with light wood tones and natural materials.
How to Choose
Consider three factors:
- Light: How much natural light does the room receive? Dark colours absorb light; light colours reflect it.
- Existing furniture: Will the table contrast or complement surrounding pieces?
- Mood: Do you want the table to be a calm presence or a bold statement?
