What defines a microcement dining table
Not all microcement tables are the same. The difference lies in the surface system — how many layers, what materials, and how they are applied. At Marlot Baus, every dining table is built with a nine-layer microcement system, handcrafted in Barcelona, made to order.
The nine-layer difference
Many microcement furniture manufacturers apply three or four layers. Our system uses nine:
- One primer layer for adhesion
- Two base microcement layers for colour and texture
- Two fine-finish layers for depth
- Two pre-seal layers
- Two final waterproof seal layers
More layers mean more depth, more durability, and a more refined surface. The difference is visible and tactile.
Handcrafted, not mass-produced
Every table is made by hand in our workshop in La Llagosta, Barcelona. No production lines, no seasonal collections. Each piece is built to the customer's exact specifications — dimensions, shape, colour, legs, and edge profile.
Made-to-order means zero waste
We do not hold stock. We produce only what has been ordered. This means no deadstock, no overproduction, and no tables sitting in warehouses. Each table is built for a specific home.
Three-year warranty
Every Marlot Baus dining table includes a three-year warranty covering structural integrity, surface delamination, and manufacturing defects.
